AllGenetics is proud to support the 19th edition of the EMPSEB meeting, organised this year by PhD students at the University of Exeter, United Kingdom.
The scientist giving the best talk of the meeting will be awarded with the AllGenetics-EMPSEB Award 2013, that consists of a one-week holiday for six people at The Farm Cottage (Galicia, Spain), and the invitation to participate at an infuscience event at the University of A Coruña. This is the second year that AllGenetics offers this award, that was won in 2012 by biologist Mareike Wurdack (University of Freiburg).
EMPSEB provides a platform for PhD students studying Evolutionary Biology to present their work and to meet their peers from all over Europe. It takes place in a different European town each year and is organised by current PhD students in that country.
The meeting is now an annual tradition that started 18 years ago with the first meeting back in 1995 being held in Zurich, Switzerland.
