AllGenetics' project manager Dr. Charlotte Urien will present her work at the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidade da Coruña (Spain) on Wednesday, October 28th, at 13 pm. The talk, which summarises the work carried out by Dr. Urien during her PhD, is entitled «Comparing culture-based and non-culture based methods in yeast species identification: the example of French organic bread sourdoughs».

In her talk, Dr. Urien will discuss different methods used in the identification of yeast species, with a focus on organic bread sourdoughs. Specifically, she will address both classical microbiology techniques and DNA metabarcoding and show how these methods can be applied to improve the bread making process.
