Now that 2014 is coming to an end, we just wanted to keep you informed about the progress we have made over the last year.

Our company has grown beyond our greatest expectations, and we have been involved in 35 projects, working with research institutions and companies in 7 countries around the world (Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, and Spain). This has allowed us to learn new techniques and improve our client support. In other words, our expertise is greater than ever before.

Every project is a new challenge and we try to tackle each and every one optimistically and professionally. The main reason behind our being successful is our extraordinary team of well-prepared, young scientists who are ambitious and eager to show their worth.

Since early this year, in our lab, Belén Carro has been doing an incredible, thorough, methodical, and meticulous job. In the coming weeks she will be leaving us for a while to focus on finishing her PhD thesis. That is why we have just welcomed our new lab specialist, Iria Díaz. Trained at the Laboratory of Cellular Biochemistry in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Iria has become the perfect lab partner for our dedicated technical manager, Antón Vizcaíno. Both of them are working hard to produce high-quality data for our project managers.

Our colleagues in the office are also doing a great job. Since September, Verónica Rojo -business developer- has been presenting our services to potential new clients with great success. Very recently, Neus Marí-Mena has rejoined the team after a research internship in Oslo (Norway) in which she has specialised in DNA metabarcoding and metagenomics. Meanwhile, general manager Joaquín Vierna, who is in charge of the finances of the company, project management, and communication with clients, does a tireless job coordinating our team. Alejandra Perina, co-founder of AllGenetics and currently working at University, joins our meetings and wisely advises on technical issues.

In the following years we expect to continue learning, growing, and building a network of satisfied clients, using state-of-the-art technologies, and maximising the reliability and accuracy of our results. We hope that, in the near future, you will continue letting us be your molecular lab! Thank you so much!
