Our headquarters are now located at the CICA building in the Universidade da Coruña campus.
AllGenetics is proud to announce that we have come to an agreement with the Universidade da Coruña (UDC) to establish our headquarters in the new Centro de Investigacións Científicas Avanzadas (CICA). This agreement, which sets up the bases for the collaboration between AllGenetics and UDC in research and training programs, will allow our team to work at the CICA for at least four years.
The CICA is a technology centre promoted by the Vice-rectorate for Science Policy, Research, and Transfer for research groups in the interdisciplinary fields of Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, and Medicine. The centre is located in a modern prize-winning building which currently accomodates 14 research teams and a scientific foundation. The building has a conference hall, various meeting rooms as well as other rooms with shared scientific equipment. There are also five floors entirely dedicated to the laboratories used by the different research teams.
AllGenetics is very proud to set up business in this technology centre. Our company has invested a great deal in our three new working areas: two laboratories -one for pre-PCR and another for post-PCR- as well as an area for bioinformatics and business management. As our general manager, Dr. Joaquín Vierna, says “Our new laboratories and equipment will enable AllGenetics to meet the increasing demand with shorter turnaround times”.
After winning the Galicia Spin-Off Award last September this new milestone is yet another incentive for AllGenetics to continue our feat to provide research institutions and corporations with cutting edge genomics solutions.
