AllGenetics is thrilled to announce the incorporation of Dr Ania Pino-Querido as new project specialist. She will take the lead in the microbial genomics projects developed by the company and will help diversify AllGenetics’ services in this key area.
Scientifically trained at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, University of Stirling, Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (Lisbon), and (remotely) at the École Normale Supérieure (Paris), Dr Pino-Querido is an experienced molecular geneticist who has worked in evolutionary genetics, animal breeding, and microbial genomics, areas of utmost importance to AllGenetics’ services portfolio. She also has a strong background in high-throughput sequencing technologies.
During the last six years, Dr Pino-Querido has held various positions at Xenética Fontao SA and at the Centro Tecnológico Agroalimentario de Lugo (CETAL), where she was the head of the molecular biology laboratory for five years.
