The AllGenetics student award for industrial applications using DNA barcoding and DNA metabarcoding will be given to the best student work on this topic.
We are very happy to announce that we will be sponsoring the 8th International Barcode of Life Conference 2019, which will be held in Trondheim (Norway) June 17-20 2019. The conference is being organised by Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet and Artsdatabanken in collaboration with NorBOL, the Norwegian Barcode of Life project.
This bi-annual conference, which attracts hundreds of biodiversity scientists from around the world, will be featuring this year speakers such as Dan Janzen, Nancy Knowlton, Junko Shimura, Colomban de Vargas, Inger Greve Alsos, Michelle van der Bank, Holly Bik, Kat Bruce, Mike Bunce, Kristy Deiner, Paul Hebert, Florian Leese, Laura Parfrey, Jan Strugnell, and Xin Zhou.
AllGenetics will give a 400-euro student award to the best work on industrial applications of DNA barcoding and DNA metabarcoding. By doing so, it is our intention to recognise the work of young researchers working on the industrial aspects of DNA barcoding and metabarcoding technologies.
